Live-English.net provides online English language training services.
2. Scope of Services
Live-English.net provides live online English lessons conducted via video conferencing platforms.
Lessons are available in formats of 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on the plan selected.
We do not provide downloadable digital courses or pre-recorded programs as standalone products.
Access to services is personal and non-transferable.
3. Eligibility and Minors
Services are available to individuals aged 18 and above.
Students aged 12–17 may enroll only with verified parental or legal guardian consent. The parent or guardian is the contractual party and assumes full responsibility for payment and compliance with these Terms.
4. Registration and Account Responsibility
Users must provide accurate information during registration and keep their account credentials confidential.
Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
Direct arrangements with teachers outside the platform are prohibited.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed before purchase.
Payments may be made by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Services are activated upon payment confirmation.
6. Lesson Booking and Cancellation
Lessons must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance via the booking platform.
Lessons cancelled less than 12 hours before the scheduled time are considered used.
Availability depends on teacher scheduling.
7. Packages (Non-Renewing Plans)
Packages grant access to a fixed number of lessons to be used within a defined validity period (3, 6, or 12 months).
Unused lessons expire at the end of the validity period.
A one-time 30-day extension may be granted at our discretion.
After expiration, unused lessons are forfeited.
8. Subscription Plans
Subscriptions are billed monthly and may continue for up to 12 months.
Subscribers may cancel at any time via the Member Area. Cancellation stops future billing. No additional charges will occur after cancellation.
Cancellation does not refund payments already made for past billing periods.
Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
Subscriptions do not automatically bind customers beyond 12 months.
9. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the date of purchase.
To exercise this right, you must inform us in writing at admin@live-english.net.
If you request that lessons begin during the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly acknowledge that:

You request immediate performance of the service.

You understand that once lessons have been fully delivered, your right of withdrawal is lost.

If you withdraw after partial use, you may be charged proportionally for lessons already delivered.
This clause does not affect mandatory consumer rights under your local law.
10. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to statutory rights, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
Within 30 days of purchase:

You may request a refund for unused lessons.

Used lessons will be charged at their proportional value.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
After 30 days, no refunds are issued except where required by law.
Refunds are processed within 30 days.
11. Recordings, AI Processing, and Data Storage
Lessons may be recorded with explicit user consent.
Transcripts may be processed using AI tools for the purpose of generating Smart Reports.
Data may be processed and stored on secure servers located in the United States.
Processing is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Service Availability and Technical Requirements
Users are responsible for having adequate internet connection and equipment.
We are not responsible for disruptions caused by user-side technical issues.
In case of teacher illness or force majeure, lessons may be rescheduled or substituted.
13. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or mandatory statutory rights.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental restrictions, internet outages, or serious illness.
In prolonged cases, services may be rescheduled or refunded proportionally.
15. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted to admin@live-english.net.
We aim to respond within 3 business days.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
For consumers residing in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence remain applicable.
Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation.
If mediation fails, jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts in Israel.
17. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
